Cost of living motion passed in parliament after lengthy debate on ways to deal with concerns

The original motion, which was tabled by the Workers' Party, called on the government to review its policies to lower cost of living pressures on Singaporeans and their families. It went through three amendments put forward by PAP MP Liang Eng Hwa.
