Warehousing currently accounts for almost 16% of the Bahrain-based firm’s $350 million real estate portfolio in India, and it’s planning to boost that share in the coming year, according to Ritesh Vohra, the firm’s real estate head in the nation.

Investcorp has recently joined a group of global funds in investing in the Indian warehousing sector. The move is seen as a bet on the growth of e-commerce in India, which is expected to drive demand for modern and efficient warehouse facilities. This investment is in line with Investcorp's strategy of investing in high-growth sectors in India and around the world.
