Indian airports' revenues to rise to $3.9 billion next fiscal year

Indian air terminal administrators are projected to report 26% ascent in incomes at $3.9 billion in the following monetary year, aeronautics consultancy CAPA India said on Wednesday.

For 2023-24, air traveler traffic, including homegrown and global, is supposed to be 395 million, it said while introducing the viewpoint for the air terminals.

Out of the aggregate, homegrown air travelers will ascend to 320 million from 275 million this monetary. During this period, the global air traveler count will increment to 75 million from 58 million.

"India is estimate to see homegrown air terminal pax ascend to 700 million travelers, and worldwide air terminal pax to 160 million travelers by FY2030," CAPA India said.

It said Indian air terminals' income of $3.9 billion (₹32,390 crore) in the following monetary will be 26% higher than expected in 2022-23. The standpoint was introduced at the CAPA India flight culmination here.
