Equity market opens on negative note; Sensex slides 225 points

Benchmark value lists Sensex and Clever declined in early exchange on Wednesday in the midst of blended patterns worldwide business sectors as financial backers stayed careful anticipating prompts on the loan cost direction in the US.

BSE Sensex drooped 225.95 focuses or 0.37 percent to 60,806.31 focuses while NSE Clever dropped 54.50 focuses to 17,875.35 places.

With the exception of eight stocks, including Dependence Enterprises, State Bank of India and Maruti, rest of the 22 offers in the Sensex pack were exchanging the negative domain.

The negative opening for the homegrown market comes a day after the 30-share Sensex flooded 600.42 focuses or 0.99 percent to close at 61,032.26 focuses on Tuesday.

The more extensive NSE Clever also had bounced 158.95 focuses or 0.89 percent to complete at 17,929.85 places.

On Wednesday, Asian stocks, remembering for Japan, China and Hong Kong, were exchanging the red. On Tuesday, European and US markets shut on a blended note.

Unfamiliar Portfolio Financial backers were net purchasers, obtaining shares worth Rs 1,305.3 crore on Tuesday.
