Malaysia and Singapore have signed a bilateral agreement to export 100MW of electricity from Malaysia to Singapore. This agreement will allow Malaysia to export excess electricity generated from its power plants to meet the demand in Singapore. This is expected to strengthen the energy security and reliability of both countries.
